Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Avano (“the service”), operated by Avant Grobel, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. The service

Avano provides software for managing point of sale, inventory, and business finances. We provide it on a subscription basis and continue to develop and improve it over time.

3. Accounts & responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for the accuracy of the data you enter, and for the actions of users you invite to your account. You are responsible for configuring roles and permissions appropriately for your staff.

4. Subscriptions, trials & payment

New accounts begin with a free trial. After the trial, continued use of paid features requires an active subscription. Fees are billed in advance for the period chosen. If a payment is not completed, access to certain features may be paused after a grace period, though you will retain the ability to view your existing data and to reactivate.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or access other businesses’ data, and no use that disrupts the platform for others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or request deletion of your data subject to that policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability or from connectivity issues outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months. We are not responsible for your business decisions, your regulatory compliance, or losses we could not reasonably foresee.

9. Compliance

You are responsible for your own legal and regulatory obligations, including any pharmacy, retail, tax, or record-keeping requirements applicable to your business. Avano is a tool to help you operate; it is not a guarantee of compliance.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
