About Avano
Point-of-sale & inventory for growing shops in Nigeria.
Why we built Avano
We started from a simple frustration: the tools shops were told to buy didn’t fit how they actually trade. You had to buy an expensive machine. It died when the light went. When the device spoiled, the records vanished with it. And it all cost too much before you’d made a single sale.
A different way
Avano runs on the phone already in your pocket — nothing to buy, nothing to install. Your records don’t live on the device; they live safely in the cloud. Lose the phone, change the phone, and everything is still there when you sign in. And you can start free.
What Avano does
- Sell faster — ring up sales by name or barcode, take any payment method, and hand over a receipt.
- Know your stock — track what you have, what’s running low, and what’s near expiry.
- See your real profit — not just what came in, but what you actually made after cost and VAT.
- Run more than one shop — keep each branch’s stock and sales separate, all in one account.
- Trust your numbers — returns, refunds and cash counts are handled properly, so the figures add up.
Who builds Avano
Avano is built and operated by Avant Grobel, a Nigerian software company focused on practical tools for local businesses. We build for the realities Nigerian shops actually work in — patchy network, power that comes and goes, and the need to keep serving customers regardless.
What we care about
- Your data is yours. It’s kept securely, separated from every other business, and never sold. We only handle it to run the service you’re paying for — see our Privacy Policy.
- Straight pricing. Clear plans, no hidden charges, and you can change or cancel as your business changes.
- Real support. When something isn’t working, a real person from Avant Grobel responds.
